Crochet Weather Blanket – CAL – 20th Week

Ups and downs while crocheting the weather blanket in the Whitsun week. If you have no idea what this is about, you can read it in the Pattern to Crochet a Weather Blanket.

20th Week of Crocheting a Weather Blanket

During the Whitsun week there was a nice up and down, as the colours of this week are telling. After the bad weather we got a wonderful sunny Whitsunday. Our blanket also rewards us with more pattern variations than last week.

Day Temperature Weather
134 25 Sun
135 22 Rain
136 19 Rain
137 16 Overcast
138 14 Overcast
139 18 Some Clouds

Projection for the Weather Blanket

After the 20th week my weather blanket weighs 1884g and is 101cm long. So I have also reached the 1 meter mark. Slowly I get a problem with the weighing, because my weather blanket has also nearly overgrown the small kitchen scale. After 140 days we have a factor of 2.6, so we get 4898g and 263cm for the whole blanket. Over the summer the projection will grow up, which will move down again in autumn and winter.
